Russell Crowe Did Not Call Sharon Stone An ‘Orangutan’ is a headline I read today. What type of news is that?
Is this the same type of comment like, “When did you stop beating your wife?” This isn’t journalism. Anna Paquin is not a slimy porn star.
When did Brad Pitt stop hitting Jolie? Probably when she laid him out.
Tom Cruise did not call Tatyana Simanava a pathogenic liar. Nope he sure didn’t.
Halle Berry did not call O.J. Simpson for a late night date.
Michelle Rodriguez from Lost, did not pose with Lindsay Lohan in Playboy.
Neither did any of the above call Anna Paquin a two-faces loser.
Brad Pitt did not Ask Natalie Portman on a Date
What happened to real reporting?
Natalie Portman has probably populated more fanboy fantasies than anyone this side of Jessica Alba.
Besides presiding over the recent `Star Wars’ films as Queen Amidala, she plays a bald, beautiful and badass revolutionary in “V For Vendetta,” the latest film from Matrix masterminds Andy and Larry Wachowski.
As the missing link between the universes of George Lucas and the Wachowski Brothers, Portman holds an unique place in geek-movie history.
“Yes, they’re all somehow linked now,” she says. “It’s sort of hard to put a genre label on `V For Vendetta’ but it fits in the action category with `Star Wars’ even though it’s a little bit more provocative, I would say.
“But I will leave it to all the people who love to write essays about this kind of stuff to make `Matrix’ and `V’ connections and `Star Wars’ and `V’ connections. There’s certainly plenty to discuss.” (more…)
V for Vendetta star Natalie Portman says she got so carried away learning a London accent for the movie that she couldn’t stop using it once she was done.
The 24-year-old spent a about a month working with a dialect coach to get her voice just right for the role.
“I stayed in the accent all the time,” she said. “They told me that’s the best way to get the tune and rhythm. But then my mum said, ‘Really, Natalie, enough already. This is crazy’.”
